Oromo Prosperity Party regime soldiers massacred six civilians in Kudmi-Giyorgis Kebele of North Mecha Woreda
Update – April 4, 2026 (Megabit 26, 2018 EC) The Amhara Association of America (AAA) has learned that on April 1 st , 2026 Oromo Prosperity Party regime soldiers (regime forces) massacred six civilians in Kudmi-Giyorgis Kebele of North Mecha Woreda (North Gojjam Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia). Oromo Prosperity Party regime soldiers carried out a series of abuses against civilians in Dibko town of Lasta Woreda
Update – April 1, 2026 (Megabit 23, 2018 EC) The Amhara Association of America (AAA) has learned that between March 24 th and 25 th , 2026 Oromo Prosperity Party regime soldiers (regime forces) carried out a series of abuses against civilians in Dibko town (Kebele 025) of Lasta Woreda (North Wollo Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia). In the first incident, a 42-year-old woman identified as Woizero Yeshiye Guche Belete, a resident of Dibko, was abducted and raped by regime forces.
