Report on Ataye Atrocities

The Amhara Association of America (AAA) is dismayed to find that at least 287 Amharas were killed and over 363 others were wounded in two major attacks by the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) in the Semien (North) Shewa Zone of the Amhara Region in the months of March and April of 2021. AAA’s investigation also revealed the names of at least an additional ethnic Oromo victims of the violence.
