Demand U.S Congress and Canadian Members of Parliament Sanction Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali of Ethiopia

My name is <Name> and I would like my representative to demand the State Department and Treasury sanction Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali of Ethiopia and his government for atrocities being committed against the Amhara people. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s security forces have been deployed into Amhara Region killing civilians, arresting journalists, civic leaders, activists, and have detained thousands of civilians in Amhara Region, Oromia Region and Addis Ababa. Security forces are firing live bullets at civilians and torturing political prisoners. Additionally, Prime Minister Abiy’s security forces in Oromia along with the Oromo Liberation Army have killed thousands of Amhara civilians and displaced over 1-million from the Oromia Region. I am asking my representative to issue a statement condemning Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and demand the State Department hold perpetrators accountable and stand on the side of innocent victims.
