Oromo Prosperity Party regime soldiers abducted numerous civilians including young children in Bahir-Dar City

The Amhara Association of America (AAA) has learned that on June 10, 2026 Oromo Prosperity Party regime soldiers (regime forces) abducted numerous civilians including young children in Bahir-Dar City (Amhara Region, Ethiopia).

On the evening of June 10^th regime forces abducted five members of a single family including young children from their residence in Bahir-Dar City. The victims were reportedly targeted under allegation of familial relation to Fano members. As of June 11^th, the victims were believed to be held in the 5^th Police Station in Bahir-Dar. Four of the victims were identified as follows: (1) Woizero Eskedar Baledel and her spouse, (2) Hermela Temesgen, (3) 6-year-old Fitsum Abebe, and (4) 3-year-old Haset Abebe.

የአማራ ማህበር በአሜሪካ የኦሮሞ ብልጽግና ፓርቲ አገዛዝ ወታደሮች (የአገዛዙ ኃይሎች) ሰኔ 3 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም በባህርዳር ከተማ (አማራ ክልል፣ ኢትዮጵያ) ትንንሽ ልጆችን ጨምሮ በርካታ ሲቪሎችን ጠልፈው እንደወሰዱ ተረድቷል።

በሰኔ 3 ቀን ዋዜማ ምሽት ላይ አምስት የአንድ ቤተሰብ አባላትን ጨምሮ ትናንሽ ልጆችን በባህርዳር ከተማ ከሚገኘው መኖሪያ ቤታቸው ጠልፈው ወስደዋቸል። ተጎጂዎቹ ከፋኖ አባላት ጋር ባላቸው የቤተሰብ ግንኙነት ክስ ኢላማ ተደርገዋል ተብሏል። እስከ ሰኔ 4 ቀን ድረስ ተጎጂዎቹ በባህርዳር በሚገኘው 5ኛ ፖሊስ ጣቢያ ውስጥ ተስረው እንደሚገኙ ይታመናል። ከተጎጂዎቹ መካከል አራቱ እንደሚከተለው ተለይተዋል፡- (1) ወይዘሮ እስከዳር ባለድል ከነ ባለቤቷ፣ (2) ሄርሜላ ተመስገን፣ (3) የ6 ዓመቱ ህፃን ፍጹም አበበ እና (4) የ3 ዓመቷ ህፃን ሃሴት አበበ ናቸው።
