Oromo Prosperity Party regime soldiers extrajudicially executed at least seven civilians from Agut Kebele of Sekela Woreda

The Amhara Association of America (AAA) has learned that on November 23^rd, 2025 Oromo Prosperity Party regime soldiers (regime forces) extrajudicially executed at least seven civilians from Agut Kebele of Sekela Woreda (West Gojjam Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia). 

Earlier that day, fighting had taken place between regime forces and Fano fighters in Agut Kebele during which the regime forces sustained significant casualties. It was reported the regime forces abducted local civilians (youths) from the town and surrounding rural area and later executed the victims inside the compound of Tilim School after abducting them from Agut Kebele. The killings were reportedly carried out in a brutal manner, involving mutilation of the victims’ genitals and tongues. While preliminary reports indicate seven victims were killed, the casualty toll is expected to increase as the whereabouts of other abductees has yet to be confirmed.

የአማራ ማኅበር በአሜሪካ ባደረገው ማጣራት፣ በህዳር 14 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም፣የኦሮሞ ብልጽግና ፓርቲ ወታደሮች (የአገዛዙ ኃይሎች)፣ በአማራ ክልል፣ ምዕራብ ጎጃም ዞን፣ ሰከላ ወረዳ፣ አጉት ቀበሌ፣ በትንሹ ሰባት ሰላማዊ ሰዎችን ያለፍርድ መረሸናቸውን ማረጋገጥ ችሏል።

በእለቱ በአጉት ቀበሌ እና አካባቢው በአገዛዙ እና በፋኖ ኃይሎች መካከል ውጊያ ተካሂዶ የነበረ ሲሆን፣ በዚህም የአገዛዙ ኃይሎች ከፍተኛ ጉዳት እንዳስተናገዱ ምንጮች ጠቁመዋል። ውጊያውን ተከትሎ የአገዛዙ ወታደሮች በአጉት ከተማ እና አካባቢው በርካታ ንጹሀን ወጣቶችን አፍነው እንደወሰዱና በኋላም አጉት ቀበሌ በሚገኝ የጥልም ትምህርት ቤት ግቢ ውስጥ አስገብተው እንደረሸኗቸው ምንጮች ገልጸዋል። ግድያው በአሰቃቂ ሁኔታ የተፈጸመ ሲሆን፣ የሟቾች ብልት እና ምላስ በአገዛዙ ወታደሮች መቆረጡ ተገልጿል። እስካሁን በተረጋገጡ መረጃዎች ሰባት ንጹሀን መገደላቸው የታወቀ ሲሆን ሌሎች ታፍነው የተወሰዱ ሰዎች የደረሱበት ባለመታወቁ የሟቾች ቁጥር ከዚህም ሊያሻቅብ እንደሚችል ምንጮች ጠቁመዋል።
