The Amhara Association of America (AAA) has learned that on August 10th, 2025 Oromo Prosperity Party regime soldiers (regime forces) carried out extrajudicial executions of eight civilians in a place called Fecho-Megentiya, located near Mekoy town in Antsokiyana-Gemza Woreda (North Shewa Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia). The victims were targeted for alleged familial ties to Fano fighters and lack of support for the ruling party. Some victims were severely beaten to death during interrogations, while others were deliberately shot while working. The victims included self-employed individuals, day laborers and family members including fathers, sons, and brothers, who were arrested arbitrarily and summarily executed. The victims were identified by name as follows: (1) Eshete Damene; (2) Wasu Eshete, son of Eshete Damene; (3) Temesgen Wosine; (4) Shewa Wosine, brother of Temesgen Wosine; (5) Basazin Getu; (6) Shambel Bekele; (7) Sine Mengiste; and (8) Tadesse Jemaneh. The day after the killings (August 11th), the Antsokiyana-Gemza Woreda Peace Council issued a statement appearing to justify killings by regime forces and outlining future actions that include extrajudicial executions, mass arrests, surveillance, asset confiscation, and detention without due process.

የአማራ ማህበር አሜሪካ እንደተገነዘበው ነሃሴ 4 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም የኦሮሞ ብልጽግና ፓርቲ አገዛዝ ወታደሮች (የአገዛዙ ኃይል) በአንጾኪያና ገምዛ ወረዳ (በሰሜን ሸዋ ዞን፤ አማራ ክልል፤ ኢትዮጵያ) ከመኮይ ከተማ በቅርብ ርቀት ላይ ልዩ ስሙ ፌጮ መገንጠያ በተባለ ቦታ በስምንት ሰላማዊ ዜጎች ላይ ከህግ አግባብ ውጪ የሞት ቅጣት መፈጸማቸውን ለማወቅ ተችሏል። ተጎጂዎቹ ኢላማ የተደረጉት ከፋኖ ታጋዮች ጋር ቤተሰባዊ ግንኙነት አላችሁ በሚል እና ለአገዛዙ ድጋፍ አልሰጣችሁም በሚል ነው። አንዳንድ ተጎጂዎች በምርመራ ወቅት ከፍተኛ ድብደባ ደርሶባቸው የተገደሉ ሲሆን ሌሎች ደግሞ ሆን ተብሎ በስራ ላይ እያሉ በጥይት ተመትተው ተገድለዋል። የጥቃቱ ሰለባ የሆኑት ግለሰቦች፣ የቀን ሰራተኞች እና አባቶች፣ ልጆች እና ወንድሞችን ጨምሮ የቤተሰብ አባላት በዘፈቀደ ተይዘው በግፍ ተገድለዋል። ተጎጂዎቹ በስም ተለይተው የሚታዎቁ ሲሆን እነሱም፡ (1) እሸቴ ዳመነ ፤ (2) ዋሱ እሸቴ: የእሸቴ ዳመነ ልጅ፤ (3) ተመስገን ወስኔ; (4) የተመስገን ወስኔ ወንድም የሆነው ሸዋ ወስኔ; (5) ባሳዝን ጌቱ; (6) ሻምበል በቀለ; (7) ሳይን መንግስቴ; እና (8) ታደሰ ጀማነህ ናቸው። ግድያው በተፈፀመ ማግስት (ነሀሴ 5) የአንጾኪያና ገምዛ ወረዳ ሰላም ምክር ቤት በአገዛዙ ታጣቂዎች የሚፈጸመውን ግድያ ትክክል መሆኑን የሚያሳይ እና ወደፊትም የሚወሰዱ እርምጃዎችን ከህግ አግባብ ውጭ የሞት ቅጣት፣ የጅምላ እስራት፣ ክትትል፣ የንብረት መውረስ እና ያለ ህጋዊ እስራት እንደሚወሰድ በመግለጽ መግለጫ አውጥቷል።
