The Amhara Association of America (AAA) has learned that on November 11, 2025 Oromo Prosperity Party regime soldiers (regime forces) carried out a deadly attack leaving more than ten civilians (farmers) killed and several others critically wounded in Werqedemo Kebele of Wegera Woreda (Central Gonder Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia).
On the day of the incident, regime forces targeted farmers which were collecting ripe crops in the kebele. According to sources, more than ten farmers were killed and several others sustained critical injuries. Witnesses emphasize that there was no active fighting between Fano forces and regime forces in the area at the time of the incident. In addition to these casualties, regime forces reportedly burned down a private residence.
AAA received names of six killed victims and three injured victims (redacted) as shown in the table below.

የጥቃቱ ሁኔታ
ጥቃቱ በተፈጸመበት ዕለት፣ የአገዛዙ ኃይሎች የደረሰ ሰብላቸውን ሲሰበስቡ የነበሩ አርሶ አደሮችን ዒላማ አድርገዋል። ምንጮች እንደገለጹት፣ ከአሥር በላይ የሚሆኑ አርሶ አደሮች ተገድለዋል፤ ሌሎች በርካቶችም ከባድ የአካል ጉዳት ደርሶባቸዋል። የአይን እማኞች በወቅቱ በአካባቢው በፋኖ እና በአገዛዙ ኃይሎች መካከል ምንም ዓይነት የፊት ለፊት ውጊያ እንዳልነበር አጽንዖት ሰጥተዋል፤ ይህም ጥቃቱ ከሕግ ውጭ በንጹሃን ላይ የተፈጸመ መሆኑን ያመለክታል። ከዚህ የሰው ሕይወት መጥፋት በተጨማሪ፣ የአገዛዙ ኃይሎች አንድ የግል መኖሪያ ቤትን በእሳት እንዳቃጠሉ ታውቋል።
