The Amhara Association of America (AAA) has verified from sources on the ground including officials, survivors, doctors and victims’ families that 12 civilians were killed and 22 more were injured by the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) paramilitary forces in Efratana Gidim (Efrata and Gidim) and Kewet Woredas (districts) of the North Shewa Zone (Amhara Region, Ethiopia)

The Amhara Association of America (AAA) documented incidents of (gang) rape committed by TPLF forces against 930 ethnic Amhara women and 86 girls (children) between 11-17 years old in Ethiopia’s Amhara Region between August 6th and December 19th, 2021

Invading Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) militias killed at least 555 ethnic Amhara civilians and injured 54 more in the North Wollo Zone of Ethiopia’s Amhara Region between August 6th and December 19th, 2021

AAA’s incident reports show between October 1st, 2021 and January 31st,2022, at least 205 ethnic Amhara civilians were massacred, an additional 56 were injured, 23 went missing and 81 were arbitrarily detained in the WestShewa and East Wollega Zones of Oromia Region in Ethiopia.

At least 33 Amhara civilians killed, 13 injured, 5 sexually assaulted, 100 million ETB in property losses by TPLF militants during their occupation of Debre Sina town and Termaber Woreda in North Shewa Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia between November 22nd and December 1st, 2021
