Oromo Prosperity Party regime soldiers killed at least seven civilians in separate incidents in Hulet-Eju-Enese, Sedie and Shebel-Berenta Woredas

The Amhara Association of America (AAA) has learned that between April 11 and 13, 2026 Oromo Prosperity Party regime soldiers (regime forces) killed at least seven civilians in separate incidents in Hulet-Eju-Enese, Sedie and Shebel-Berenta Woredas (East Gojjam Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia).

Names of victims from all three incidents are listed below.

The first incident took place on April 11^th, when regime forces executed three civilians from a single family in Debre-Mikael Kebele of Hulet-Eju-Enese Woreda. According to sources, the soldiers entered a private residence that day and used automatic gunfire to kill three family members. The killed victims were identified as: 51-year-old Ato Tade Binega, his wife 48-year-old Woizero Anchine Zeleke, and their daughter 22-year-old Mintamir Tade.

The second incident took place on the same day when regime forces indiscriminately shelled residential homes in areas bordering Sedie and Hulet-Eju-Enese Woredas. The regime forces' indiscriminate fire resulted in civilian casualties and property damages. During the artillery shelling, a mother of four identified as Woizero Yenewog Muluye was killed in Addis-Alem Kebele of Sedie Woreda. Additionally, another woman identified as Addise Getie Aynalem was killed in Hulet-Eju-Enese Woreda. Sources reported that the regime forces' indiscriminate shelling resulted in the deaths of livestock and the burning of residential homes.

The third incident took place on April 13th, when a regime soldier killed two civilians in Yeduha town of Shebel-Berenta Woreda. According to sources, the attack occurred at around 6 pm, when the perpetrator (a regime militia) targeted Woizerit Fentanesh Ababu, who was working in a small dining business. Reports indicate that the victim rejected the perpetrators’ forced romantic advances after which he proceeded to kill her and her visually impaired father Ato Ababu Kassaye. The incident reportedly sparked anger among community members leading ENDF soldiers to subsequently execute the perpetrator shortly after the incident.

የአማራ ማህበር በአሜሪካ በደረሰው መረጃ መሰረት፤ ከሚያዝያ 3 እስከ ሚያዝያ 5 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም. ባለው ጊዜ ውስጥ የኦሮሞ ብልጽግና ፓርቲ አገዛዝ ወታደሮች (የአገዛዙ ኃይሎች) በሁለት እጁ እነሴ፣ ሰዴ እና ሸበል በረንታ ወረዳዎች (ምስራቅ ጎጃም ዞን፣ አማራ ክልል፣ ኢትዮጵያ) በተፈጸሙ የተለያዩ ጥቃቶች ቢያንስ ሰባት ንጹሃን ዜጎችን መግደላቸውን አረጋግጧል።

የመጀመሪያው ድርጊት የተፈጸመው ሚያዝያ 3 ቀን ሲሆን፣ የአገዛዙ ኃይሎች በሁለት እጁ እነሴ ወረዳ ደብረ ሚካኤል ቀበሌ ውስጥ የአንድ ቤተሰብ አባላት የሆኑ ሦስት ሰዎችን ረሽነዋል። ምንጮች እንደገለጹት፤ በዕለቱ ወታደሮቹ ወደ ተጎጂ ቤተሰቦች የግል መኖሪያ ቤታቸው ድረስ ገብተው የተኩስ እሩንታ በመክፈት ሦስቱን የቤተሰብ አባላት ገድለዋል። በዚህ ጥቃት የተገደሉት፦ የ51 ዓመቱ አቶ ታዴ ቢነጋ፣ ባለቤታቸው የ48 ዓመቷ ወይዘሮ አንቺኔ ዘለቀ እና የ22 ዓመት ልጃቸው ምንታምር ታዴ መሆናቸው ታውቋል።

ሁለተኛው ድርጊት የተፈጸመው በዚያው ዕለት ሲሆን፣ የአገዛዙ ኃይሎች በሰዴ እና በሁለት እጁ እነሴ ወረዳዎች አዋሳኝ አካባቢዎች በሚገኙ የመኖሪያ መንደሮች ላይ ኢላማውን ያልጠበቀ እና የጅምላ የመድፍ ድብደባ ፈጽመዋል። የአገዛዙ ኃይሎች በከፈቱት በዚህ የዘፈቀደ ተኩስ በንጹሃን ላይ የሞት ጉዳትና በንብረት ላይ ውድመት ደርሷል። በዚህ ጥቃት የአራት ልጆች እናት የሆኑት ወይዘሮ የኔወግ ሙሉየ በሰዴ ወረዳ አዲስ ዓለም ቀበሌ ውስጥ ሲገደሉ፣ አዲሴ ጌቴ አይናለም የተባሉ ሌላ ሴት ደግሞ በሁለት እጁ እነሴ ወረዳ ተገድለዋል። በተጨማሪም በተፈጸመው የዘፈቀደ የከባድ መሣሪያ ድብደባ እንስሣት የተገደሉ ሲሆን መኖሪያ ቤቶች መቃጠላቸውን ምንጮች ጠቁመዋል።

ሦስተኛው ድርጊት የተፈጸመው ሚያዝያ 5 ቀን ሲሆን፣ የአገዛዙ ሚሊሻ በሸበል በረንታ ወረዳ የዱሃ ከተማ ውስጥ ሁለት ንጹሃንን ገድሏል። እንደ ምንጮች ገለጻ ጥቃቱ የተፈጸመው አመሻሽ 12 ሰአት አካባቢ ሲሆን፣ ጥቃት አድራሹ (የአገዛዙ ሚሊሻ) በአነስተኛ ምግብ ቤት ውስጥ ትሠራ የነበረችውን ወይዘሪት ፈንታነሽ አባቡን ኢላማ አድርጓል። ምንጮች እንደገለጹት ጥቃት አድራሹ በኃይል ያቀረበላትን የፍቅር ጥያቄ ውድቅ ማድረጓን ተከትሎ እሷን እና ማየት የተሳናቸው ወላጅ አባቷን አቶ አባቡ ካሳየን ገድሏል። ድርጊቱ በማህበረሰቡ ዘንድ ከፍተኛ ቁጣ ቀስቅሶ የነበረ ሲሆን የአገዛዙ መከላከያ ሠራዊት ወታደሮችም ጥቃት አድራሹን ወዲያውኑ መረሸናቸው ተገልጿል።
